By foot, bicycle or car from city centre
From TCD and College Green proceed straight up Dame Street past Christ Church Cathedral (on your right) and on up to Thomas Street. Continue along Thomas Street past the NCAD (on your right) until your reach St.Catherine's Church (on your left). Turn left at the traffic lights here into Thomas Court and then take the 2nd turn on your right. You will see the GEC in front of you. If you are walking from the city center (college green) allow yourself 20 minutes to get here.
By bus (to Thomas Street)
- Bus 51B or 78A from Aston Quay
- Bus 123 from O'Connell Street or Dame Street
By tram
The tram/Luas stop is on James's Street. Once on James's Street turn right (towards city centre) and continue walking down James's Street until you reach the junction with Echlin Street. Here you take a right turn. At the top of the road turn left (opposite Old Harbour Pub). then take the first left onto Market Street. The Guinness Storehouse is on the left; continue past the entrance to the Storehouse and after 150m take the right turn onto Taylors Lane.
Parking
There will be free parking available on site for the Saturday ONLY, there is no capacity for additional cars on the Friday. On street parking is also available but it is a maximum stay of 3 hours. There are some back streets not too far away (eg. Summer St South) that has free parking.
